At Dønfoss Camping, you will enjoy spectacular views of mountains and the emerald green river, whether you come with a tent, caravan, or motorhome.

Here, you will find pitches right by the waterfall. Most visitors to the campsite sleep soundly to the soothing sound of the water falling down. There are also quieter spots a bit away from the river but still with beautiful views of the mountains and surrounding nature. Some pitches have gravel surfaces, while others have grass lawns. So, if you’re looking for cosy and nature-oriented pitches, we have something to suit every preference.

We offer 220 idyllic pitches for caravans/motorhomes, ensuring you never have a long distance to sanitary facilities. Out of these, 160 are reserved for permanent residents.

You cannot reserve pitches for caravans, motorhomes, or tents, so you can stay as long as you like.
